Every kill feeds the machine.
NTD: New Tower Defense?! is a roguelike tower defense where you jump between your towers and fight the B.O.R.C infestation yourself.
NTD: New Tower Defense?! is a roguelike tower defense fused with a twin-stick shooter, made by two-person indie studio Disco69. Instead of watching from above, you move instantly between your towers and shoot the B.O.R.C yourself with guns and tactical triggers. Each run you build a new arsenal of tower modules, auto-firing sentinels and orbital components. Built for controller, Steam Deck and mouse & keyboard, in retro 80s pixel art.
NTD: New Tower Defense?! is an active tower defense game fused with a twin-stick shooter. Players build a defense grid, then step into it as the gun at its center: moving instantly between towers, attacking enemies directly and using tactical triggers to control the battlefield or save themselves at the last second.
Each run, players unlock towers and tower modules, build combos, and equip sentinels (HQ weapons that hit the entire level) and orbital components. Unique enemies and celestial anomalies stand in the way, and every kill feeds the machine.
NTD is built for both controller / Steam Deck and mouse & keyboard, with retro arcade pixel art and an 80s neon look. It is developed and self-published by Disco69, a two-person studio, after more than six years in development. A free demo is available on Steam.
